
Mark Rogers has been practicing law in
Southeastern Wisconsin since 1974. In recent years, he has focused his practice
in the area of estate planning and has become a recognized leader in the field.
Mr. Rogers attended Indiana University
School of Law, graduating in 1974 with honors. After his graduation from law
school, Mr. Rogers secured a two-year clerkship with Federal District Court
Judge Myron L. Gordon in Milwaukee. After this clerkship, he joined the Law Firm
of Whyte and Hirschboeck, S.C., now known as Whyte, Hirschboeck, Dudek.
In 1978 he formed a law partnership with
Robert C. Angermeier. From 1985 to the present, Mr. Rogers and his law firm have
the distinction of the "AV" rating from the prestigious Martindale Hubbell Law
Directory. In addition, in 1985, 1990 and 1995, he and his firm have received
recognition in the surveys of the Best Lawyers in Milwaukee, published in
Milwaukee Magazine. In 1995, Mark was a finalist for the position of U.S.
Magistrate Judge.
Attorney Rogers' commitment to quality
estate planning is reflected in his charter membership
in the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys (NNEPA), a national
organization committed to a philosophy of client-centered planning. He
has attained leadership positions in regional organizations for estate planning
attorneys. He has served as co-chair of the Wisconsin Forum of the NNEPA from
1997 to 1999, is a director of the Illinois/Wisconsin Forum of the NNEPA, and is
a co-founding Fellow and Chancellor (2002-2003) of EPICOR Corporation (Estate
Planning Institute of Collaborative Resources), a wealth strategies
collaborative. Mark is a contributing author of Love, Money and Control:
Reinventing Estate Planning, scheduled for publication in October, 2003.
Mr. Rogers has made numerous presentations
on estate planning topics to his professional colleagues and to consumer groups.
Mr. Rogers and his wife, Mary, reside in Franklin, Wisconsin, and have
successfully raised three daughters.
